Happy World Kindness Day!

I’m pretty sure November 13th is my new favorite day of the year. You know why? Because today is World Kindness Day! I truly believe kindness starts with one person. Haven’t you ever been greeted by someone who was just so kind and genuine that they brightened your day in an instant? I know it happens to me all the time. And when it does, I am encouraged to be that person to someone else. I’d like to think that person passes their kindness on from there and so on, like a really awesome game of telephone. This is something that my best friends Lauren Paul & Molly Thompson, the co-founders of Kind Campaign, are experts at, and they inspire me to make every day Kindness Day!

Whether it’s holding the door open for others, giving a meaningful compliment, leaving a positive note, surprising someone with their favorite coffee, or simply saying hello when you make eye contact with a stranger — these small things can leave a big impact! I haven’t decided how I’m going to do my part to spread happiness today. How are you going to show kindness? Do you have any ideas for me?

Let’s bring some joy to people today!

I love this post! I completely agree, kindness starts with one person and continues to melt and spread around like peanut butter on toast! Thank you for sharing, I’m going to spread kindness by complimenting a co-worker on her pretty blue sweater 🙂

I like to surprise friends with little gifts that I think they would like. It can be anything from chocolate to a cute coffee mug. It doesn’t have to break the bank or be every week, but it can really put a smile on someone’s face. I also like to compliment random strangers in stores on a cute outfit, pair of shoes, etc. 🙂
