Moving Day!

As bummed as I was to see the Move Tour come to an end, I was ecstatic to finally move into my new house! Building this place practically from the ground up has been a massive project and I have learned a ton about renovations and decor. There is still so much to do as you can see from these heaping piles of junk and dirt but it will all be worth it in the end.

Did you think I was joking when I said we’ve got a long way to go?

Since I’ve been back, I’ve spent a ton of time sorting through my stuff and organizing my things. The biggest challenge has been a crazy ant problem! They’re everywhere because the yard was all dug up. Since their ant homes are being devastated I guess they’ve decided to move in with me? That’s only fair, I suppose. Ugh… I’m itching just thinking about it!

Here’s a photo of Brooks and I moving a massive mattress upstairs. Nice to have my strong guy around!

Lexi and Harley are just ready for all this work to be over, even though they’ve been lounging the whole time!

So far my favorite rooms are the kitchen and master bathroom. I can’t wait to share some pics of those with you guys. I’ll definitely be posting a lot of new recipes since I’ll have the space to cook again! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
