Hello and happy Thursday! We are Megan and Dawn from E. Interiors, a mother/daughter design team, and we are THRILLED to be guest posting today — we are huge fans of Julianne and all her amazing talents.
E. Interiors is a full-service design team as we take on custom home renovations and new build projects, e-design clients as well as room makeovers, we do it all and love what we do. We run a lifestyle blog as well as a brand new shop, Shoppe E. We’d love for you to come say hi!
Today we are excited to show you how you can freshen up your space while sharing home decor inspiration in a few of our favorite styles. We took one space, a sitting room, and styled it three different ways, showing you how you can get the look.
Our first look is Bohemian and is an ever popular style right now. Bohemian, or “boho” is an overall eclectic and earthy look full of color and character. Urban Outfitters is a great place to start when shopping this vibe.

Transitional modern is on trend and brings together classic, timeless elements with a bit of glam (think gold). Start neutral with your furniture – a loveseat like this is perfect. Add softness through a floral print, pretty pillows or a fun gold table. A neutral rug will start you on the right path and then go from there! Lulu and Georgia as well as Anthropologie are great sources of inspiration for the transitional modern style.

Our last of the 3 styles is midcentury. Whenever we have clients who want this look, we first start by looking at West Elm and Wayfair for the right furniture – these chairs are just perfect, are they not? Think neutral as well as straight lines for your furniture pieces, bring in wood elements and rich saturated color through your accessories.

Which look is your favorite?! We’d love to know.
