When my friend and hair stylist Riawna arrived to the Dancing With The Stars set last week we immediately burst into laughter.
She was wearing one of my favorite outfits — or, was I wearing hers? I can’t remember. Regardless, we were both wearing one-piece denim jumpers by Forever 21. Riawna and I obviously agree, one and done is the way to go!
A simple, stylish one piece is not only comfortable, it’s ridiculously convenient. You can forget about the stress of putting together an outfit when all you have to do is grab a few accessories and go.

It’s officially September, so that means one thing in the world of wonderful snacks: pumpkin flavored everything! Every year I look forward to a toasty, spicy latte. It feels awesomely nostalgic and sends my taste buds into a fall frenzy. When I learned how unhealthy those pumpkin lattes can be when purchased at most coffee chains, I sought out a solution. Many cafes use a ton of sugar, artificial colors, flavors, and to my shock — zero actual pumpkin!
This recipe uses real pumpkin and sweetens with honey, but you could use agave or other sweetener you prefer. Even 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, if that’s your jam! It also works whether you’re a coffee or a tea person. Either way you sip it, it’s sooo good.
Saying adios to summer means it’s time to start tucking away our sunshine-y wardrobe to make way for fall wear. (A moment of silence, please.) Before you do a total seasonal switch out, think about some of the pieces you’ve been wearing and how they can transition to cooler weather and warmer tones.
I’m not quite ready to let go of some of my favorite summer trends. Chokers have been all over the place lately, looking super cute with tank tops and breezy dresses. I’m keeping these little guys around for fall, pairing them with sweaters, collared shirts, denim jackets and more. Mixing and matching seasonal styles is the best way to keep your favorite summer looks around for a little while longer, and I’m definitely going to be taking advantage of this sneaky fashion tactic!
My favorite fall accessory is a pair of sturdy, sexy to-the-knee boots. I love how they elevate the style status of a simple flannel and jeans. I also like how they instantly make a summer dress autumn ready.
In my opinion, since the height of these boots is dramatic enough so there is no need to add more than a short heel. Anything too high or stiletto-like is bordering “Pretty Woman” territory.

Piles of crispy, colorful leaves make me want to do two things: 1) dive into them and 2) do something crafty! I searched the Internet for home decor inspirations using fallen leaves and found some seriously stunning ideas.
I love all these projects and I can’t wait to try them out. Just click the link under the photo and it will take you to the full tutorial!
If you do any of these DIYs please post pics!
I love the fall season for so many reasons but especially for all things pumpkin! I love collecting, carving, and most of all — eating their scrumptious seeds!
Brooks and I got into the Halloween spirit last weekend by carving spooky skeletons into our pumpkins. Afterwards, we roasted the seeds, and we’ve been snacking on them for days. They’re so good! Give it a try:
You guys know how much I love changing things up around the house based on the holiday or season. Since the temperature in LA is finally starting to feel more like fall, I’ve been inspired to follow suit. Getting crafty with the decor is definitely on my to-do list, but first I want to get into the spirit by changing up the scent. Out go the summery florals and in come the chai, vanilla and pine.
Here are some awesome autumn-inspired candles I found which will make our homes smell sweet, spiced, and feel cozy and nice!
One of my favorite trends featured on the runways during Fashion Week last month were the cute cut-out dresses and tops. I’ll definitely be scooping up some of those looks come spring but in the mean time I’m thinking why not get a head start on the trend and feature my shoulders for fall? A little online shopping journey lead me to some seriously chic pieces.
I could see most of these paired with a scarf, ankle boots, and skinny or boyfriend jeans!
